Formed in 1971 to promote the use of the arm and to run the basin moorings which are leased from British Waterways, the Society has gained an enviable reputation for welcoming visitors. All boaters, hirers, private, cruiser or 70' "trad" are equally welcome.
Why not enjoy a quiet walk along the towpath and escape the noise of the town for a few minutes, you'll be suprised how much peace and tranquility there is hidden away right in the centre of Aylesbury. Access can be gained to the towpath from Walton Street, Highbridge Road/ Highbridge Walk, the lower High Street or from Park Street where the first of the sixteen locks up to Marsworth can be found.
